Education campaign on wolves for hunters in wolf areas Print

Hunters are a very important interest group for wolf conservation, and have traditionally a negative attitude towards this species, which is nowadays mainly because of lack of knowledge. Hunters can also have a direct impact on the wolf population through illegal killing. This action thus directly addresses the threat No. 4.

Networking through organization of a thematic conference Print

Sharing knowledge and experiences can considerably increase effectiveness of wolf conservation and is essential for improvement of cooperation in management at the population level. Invited to the conference will be European wolf experts and managers.
