International conference “Wolf conservation in human dominated landscapes” which will be organized by SloWolf team in Postojna, Slovenija, between 25th and 27th September 2013 will cover five topics:
- WOLF SOCIOBIOLOGY AND ECOLOGY
- POPULATION MONITORING
- GENETICS AND MOLECULAR ECOLOGY
- CONFLICT MITIGATION AND RESOLUTION
- WOLVES AND HUMAN ATTITUDES
The conference will provide many opportunities for wolf researchers, experts and managers, as well as students to interact. The congress will have a European focus but we look forward to welcoming participants from around the world.
Two invited speakers have already confirmed their attendance: dr. John D. Linnell, NINA, Norwegian Institute for Nature Research and dr. Raquel Godinho, CIBIO, Research Centre in Biodiversity and Genetic resources.
